FilmConvert Nitrate applies film stock looks and grain structures to digital footage in After Effects and Premiere Pro. It analyses the camera and adjusts its response to that camera's colour science, which yields more faithful grading than a one-size-fits-all emulation.

Stocks come as print density and Cineon Log versions, with dedicated camera packs for major brands. Full curve controls adjust highlight and shadow roll-off or single channels, and grain is modelled per colour and exposure with control over highlights, midtones, shadows, softness and saturation. A 3D LUT can be exported for on-set monitoring or sharing. Halation is sold as a separate add-on. Colourists and editors chasing a filmic finish will find it comprehensive.
