Hawaiki Hue Finesse
Developer: Hawaiki (FxFactory)
Targeted colour and exposure correction across eight hue bands, including skin, with refined masking.
What Hawaiki Hue Finesse does
Hawaiki Hue Finesse corrects specific colour ranges in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, and also in Final Cut Pro and Motion. Eight bands cover Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Skin and Grey.
Every band has controls for density, saturation, hue, gamma, gain and RGB balance, and saturation can be subtractive or standard. Masks are refined by ranges of hue, saturation and value, or by sampling the picture, with keying tools such as gain, clip, invert and blur. HSV, Spherical or OkLCH models can be chosen independently for image and mask, shape masks work per band, and primary correction and white balance apply to the whole frame.
