NX CRT
Developer: Nx Color
Physically based CRT monitor simulation for DaVinci Resolve with phosphor masks, scanlines, bloom and curved glass.
What NX CRT does
NX CRT reproduces the look of vintage tube displays in DaVinci Resolve. It models the analog signal chain, the electron beam and the glass, and keeps the result independent of resolution anywhere from 720p to 8K.
Barrel distortion has adjustable radius, rounded corners and soft edge falloff. Scanlines are drawn per color channel, so beams grow thin in shadows and wide and blooming in highlights. Phosphor masks include Trinitron, Shadow Mask, Slot Mask and VGA styles. Motion designers, game video makers and editors who need retro television or monitor footage will appreciate the realism.
