What Magic Trails does
Magic Trails creates trail effects that update live in the Blender viewport and can be baked in one step when you are happy. It supports any material or shader, with animated preset materials for Eevee and Cycles covering gradients, smears, fire and lightning.
A custom panel adds, manages and deletes trail components. Trail Followers provide different motion models for secondary motion and real-time velocity capture. Motion designers and VFX artists adding light streaks, speed trails or energy effects behind moving objects can iterate rapidly without waiting for simulations.
