What Matstudio does
MatStudio generates and assigns custom preview images for materials inside Blender's Asset browser. Mark materials as assets, choose a target object, camera and world environment, then render.
Preview resolution is adjustable, and the output goes to a folder you choose, defaulting to a material_previews folder next to the .blend file. Studio Lighting renders previews with a collection of real lights, backdrops or extra geometry. It helps asset libraries look consistent and professional.
