Trimflow
Developer: Shape-Shift
Blender add-on that draws curves on a mesh to place adjustable trim-texture decals for ornaments and stitches.
What Trimflow does
Trimflow is a non-destructive way to add repeating details such as ornaments or stitching to Blender objects. You draw a curve over a mesh surface and the add-on converts trim textures into decals that follow it.
The resulting decals can be adjusted, copied or swapped, and they can be blended with the target surface. An integrated baking tool turns the decals into masks for building materials for Blender, Substance 3D or Marmoset Toolbag material work. Hard-surface and texture artists benefit when they need flexible, editable surface detail.
Key features
- Curve-driven trim decal placement
- Decals adjustable, copyable and swappable
- Baking to masks for material creation
- Works with Blender, Substance 3D and Marmoset
