Power Sphere
Developer: CROSSPHERE .Koizumi
3D sphere plugin for After Effects with elliptic distortion, unfolding, shading, reflections and depth of field.
What Power Sphere does
Power Sphere from CROSSPHERE .Koizumi generates a three-dimensional sphere inside After Effects, with much more control than a simple textured ball. It is aimed at artists who need globes, orbs and abstract spherical elements.
The sphere can be stretched with elliptic distortion or unfolded, and rich shading includes self shadowing and reflections. Depth of field adds camera-like blur, and the plugin works with composition lights and the comp camera. These controls let a single layer behave like a lit 3D object within a scene.
Key features
- Elliptic distortion of the sphere

- Shading with self shadowing
