Push Pro
Developer: Marius Silaghi
3ds Max modifier that pushes vertices in or out without the self-intersections of the standard Push.
What Push Pro does
Push Pro moves mesh vertices outward or inward in 3ds Max while avoiding the self-intersections that the standard Push modifier tends to create. Surface details are preserved very well during the push, so fine geometry survives the operation.
Beyond inflating and deflating meshes, the author notes experimental uses as a displacement modifier and for building projection cages for texture baking. It supports 3ds Max 2013 through 2027 in 64-bit. Modelers working with detailed or tightly folded surfaces, where the usual modifier makes a mess, will find it more dependable.
