RandomX
Developer: markulie
Randomizes the position and rotation of many objects at once in 3ds Max, within ranges you set.
What RandomX does
RandomX adds natural-looking variation to selected objects in 3ds Max by randomizing their position and rotation. You set the ranges for translation and rotation, and the script applies them across all selected objects in a batch, so nothing needs to be nudged by hand.
Advanced value and axis controls refine the ranges. It is written entirely in MAXScript, installs by dragging into a viewport and is released under the MIT license. Architectural visualization artists scattering furniture or props, and animators needing small variations among repeated characters or objects, will find it quick to use.
