What Uv Checker does
UV Checker gives you a quick look at the quality of UV maps. A single click applies a resolution-independent checker pattern to the selected object so stretching, distortion and uneven texel density become obvious.
Nothing is destroyed: your original materials are left alone and a toggle returns you to them, and no extra nodes are added. It runs in Eevee, Cycles and solid view. Modelers unwrapping assets and preparing them for texturing can verify their work immediately.
