ProColor
Developer: markulie
Open-source MaxScript tool for 3ds Max wire color workflows with presets, instance sync, gradients and material conversion.
What ProColor does
ProColor, which has become WireColor Pro, is open-source MaxScript that handles object coloring in 3ds Max from a single window. Five presets, Pastel, Gray, Toxic, Clay and Random, give quick results, and targets can be Geometry, Shapes, Groups, All Objects or a Selection.
Coloring is instance-aware so duplicates stay consistent. Smooth transitions between objects are possible with a dual color picker. Batch tools convert wirecolors to materials and erase materials in bulk, and full undo and redo plus smart handling of a selection or the entire scene keep the process safe. It serves designers and technical artists organizing complex scenes by color.
