Slice and Dice
Developer: JokerMartini
3ds Max tool for slicing multiple objects with lines, freehand shapes, views or world planes, with full restore.
What Slice and Dice does
Several objects can be cut at once in 3ds Max, with the cut defined by a straight line, a freehand drawing, the active view or world axes. Closed shapes form automatically when a spline's endpoints come within 20 pixels.
Surface Noise settings shape the cut face from flat to concrete-rough or splintered, and Thickness enables complex rift cuts. Explode Elements splits the remaining pieces into separate objects, and Preview Mode lets you adjust the slicing object before the cut is baked in. Undo can bring back the original or parts of slices at any moment, and Retain Parent, Retain Animation and quick Multi Material assignment are included.
